Writer's block prompt: What is one food that you refuse to try? Why?
There is no food on this earth I refuse to try. Except perhaps human flesh, for obvious reasons.
I made a list of 150 places I want to see before I die. Doesn't include Atlantis, although that would be the greatest thing ever...nah this is a realistic list. I really would like to see all these places.
However 150's a lot. I then narrowed it down to 30 places I must see before I die. And here they are:
1. Rome - Italy
2. Beijing - China
3. Athens - Greece
4. The Amazon Rainforest - Brazil
5. Luxor - Egypt
6. Dublin - Ireland
7. Jerusalem - Israel
8. Phang-Nga Bay - Thailand
9. Masai Mara - Kenya
10. Svalbard - Norway (for the Northern Lights, and the midnight sun)
11. Machu Picchu - Peru
12. Grand Canyon - Arizona
13. The Great Wall - China
14. Ayers Rock - Australia
15. Shanghai - China
16. Cairo - Egypt
17. Istanbul - Turkey
18. Great Zimbabwe Ruins - Zimbabwe
19. Kilimanjaro - Tanzania
20. Tokyo - Japan
21. Loch Ness - Scotland
22. Paris - France (why have I never been to Paris?)
23. Rio de Janeiro - Brazil
24. Banff National Park - Canada
25. Troy - Turkey
26. New Delhi - India
27. Sydney - Australia
28. Patagonia - Argentina
29. Kingston - Jamaica
30. Giant’s Causeway - Ireland
Heh heh. Can you tell I’m on an ancient history kick at the moment, both Rome and Athens in the top three there. Or maybe that’s my subconscious bank manager, like “Yes, Europe! Europe is good, it doesn’t cost much to get there! Stay in Europe, you like it here yes you doooo…”
I’ve never been to Paris. Everyone in the UK’s been to Paris!! And I’ve never been to Scotland!!!!!
Something must be done.
