oops... been too random lately to update ::sheepish grin::
sickly at the moment, but update i shall!
so the school front: I PUT MY APPLICATION IN THE MAIL!!!!!!! YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it'll get there in another 4 to 8 days from today ::shaking head:: unless some stray croc attacks the postie anyway. maybe if i'm really lucky, next month i'll be spending arranging loans and health cover and dorm rooms...
and i got some books on culture shock ::snerk:: read the phrase book all the way thru earlier today since i was sickly and couldn't move much without getting dizzy anyway. lotsa stuff in there i've never heard of before. i'm not sure i'll be able to handle it... the accent is bad enough, but the irony in practically every slang term or even the casual random stuff... it's just so grinnably perfect for my sense of humor. i love irony. ::sigh:: makes this whole thing even more, dare i say, ironic. ::shaking head::
other'n that... i been being good and been excercising good every day! go me!!!! and i'm part time employed thru the end of the month doing random projects for folks since the phones at work aren't ringing like they're supposed to be. but oh well, tis fun. and they let me go home a half hour early today when the sickies hit. hit at noon. was funny, dad came home and suggested it was a reaction to the gravitational pull of the sun and the moon and the tides and the stars what with summer solstice today. given that i get nasuous on days when we get earthquakes, i suppose that's not impossible. but more likely just the fact that i'm a female with a very messed up system. gonna go take some tylenol and go back ta sleep and hopefully be better in da mornin.
