Best served with sprinkles

My jaw unfolds
My mouth’s ingress,
Stretching as a goblet
To fill its expanse
With crunched candy coatings -
Soft delicate yummies -
Surrounding ice chills
Of vanilla cream tasties.

As my mouth closes ‘round
This cool, stainless vessel,
Its corners curl upwards
In delightful tongue wrestles
Till sugar-sweet porcelain
Is scraped to its last drop,
And all that remains
Is the cherry ‘twas on top.
