Here We Come a-Updating...
Five or so things make a Post--
The computer professional at work, who is copying my hard drive remotely onto my new computer (exciting!)...has locked up my old computer so I couldn't access my e-mail. It kept telling me I needed to 'verify my credentials'. Finally it shut down completely and won't let me on no matter how much I beg. I leave on vacation in two days and there is much tying up of loose ends and notification and etc. to be done.
Oh, and she told me yesterday that she was leaving on vacation today. Just before she hosed my computer. Remotely.
Yesterday while driving down the road we saw a green man. That is, a man, I think it was a man, or boy maybe, in a flourescent green skin tight suit. An all over suit, including the head and face. It was like seeing an alien, or some kind of super-hero/villain. He was a passenger in a black SUV. I'm thinking FBI, NSA, ATF? Keep your eyes peeled.
I was listening to Fresh Aire (I think it was that program) and Terry had some writer or another on to interview. He mentioned that one problem with the self-publishing aspects of the Internet was that everyone wants to write, but no one wants to read. I haven't been reading you people (at least your fic) much at all lately. Perhaps I need to stop trying to write, and read a little more?
OTOH, I did finish the first draft of John/Anna. It needs work that I desperately hope I can do before the 19th. OTOOH, I did make myself go and read all this year's babylon5_love entries so far. It was fun, and I could use some fun. Thanks to ruuger for the organizing!
I want to read Brian May's BANG The Complete History of the Universe. Now there's a Renaissance man. Hear him interviewed here.
