I am a happy visitor of a lovely exhibition of orchids, succulents, cactusses and other exotic plants in the Regional Museum. The exhibition is small but wonderful and it brought joy and pleasure to all  visitors. There were also tiny tropical birds, lizards, spiders and a preying mantis on display. There is a lovely Renaissance castle/chateau in Třeboň. This used to be a residence of the mighty family of Rosenbergs - with a red wild rose in their arm-of- coats. And there was an exquisite exhibition of local and Italian (borrowed from other places) Renaissance artefacts AND breathtaking floral decoration, mostly Amaryllis, Lillis and roses. ( Read more... )
