I finally upgraded the memory from 512K to 2 Gig. Weeeeeeee! It is faster and I suspect I will be able to have Firefox open with 15 tabs and not have it bog down so much ( Read more... )

Well not exactly home, but we did see her at dinner and then I went with her and A to the movie Into the Wild. The movie is very good btw. Lot's of spectacular scenery and real people. For some reason I was surprised at the ending. I was so caught up in it that I forgot that it is a Jon Krakauer book and his thing is real life stories, not ( Read more... )

Saturday was the annual scion exchange of the Rare Fruit Club. I picked up my friend Sheila and we drove to San Jose. I asked her how she got so handy with tools and I got a really long answer involving being screwed over by her first husband and being left with a house and a mortgage that was worth more than the house and nothing else.
