But right now is not that time...
So, Mount Holyoke sent me more forms to fill out [AKA, mom/dad get to fill them out]
They also sent the common-read book, which happens to be one of my sister's favorites! So, hopefully it will be good.
I also got invited to the Pre-Orientation: "Promoting InterCultural Dialogue and Creating Inclusion"... I'm trying to figure out why I got invited, since I'm not international, not super ethnic, I'm white... yeah, I'm part of the main population... and since it has a limited number of white attending, why me? I'm very confused *lol* I plan on going, but I'm still curious why. It might be since I've moved so much, and on of my essays was on how that has affected me and how I'm accepting of different cultures... but I'm not sure...
Speaking of intercultural stuff... sorta related... I've been working with Lily more (the alpha-wanna-be dog who can be a major pain-in-the-ass and is way too damn smart for her own good!) I'm doing obedience work, with her kong frisbee as a reward (kongs are the only toys she can't destroy since it's SOLID high-density rubber! And even then she has to have the "extreme" kong, since she ate the normal one!) Anyways, since Amber is often outside as well (otherwise she sits inside crying) when we're working on obedience, it can get confusing for them. I say "down" I only mean Lily, yes Amber, you did a nice "down" too, but I'm not working with you so go laydown! No, don't look at me like that, I do, in fact, still love you!
Anyways, so I thought on how to resolve this problem:
Answer - teach Lily different commands from Amber. Well, Amber knows over 60 commands already, so I'm running out of words, not to mention hand signals! Next answer - different language!
So, Lily [not to mention me] is not learning German! Sitz, platz, fier, blieb, bring, etc (no idea if I spelled them right... but I'm tried)
speaking of tired, I've felt like shit the last few nights... and have a massive headache (bordering on migraine-intensity) I've taken two 3-4 hour naps this week! Plus sleeping full nights... and I'm exhausted!
I have 5 days a week of school right now too! 9-12 English comp II, at least it's only for three weeks! But man, it's intense!
I have more I need to update on later. Plus, I need to post lots of pictures such as Lily being wiped out after training (funny pic!) new clothes, Tiger's new bed, etc.
