Year of the Tiger
What a coincidence! Last night gothclark gave me a tiger pin for my coat and today I wore it to a Year of the Tiger Art Show! So cool - it looks like I have a tiger crawling up to my shoulder.
It's been a nice weekend, despite all the stress of things.
We went to a fingerprint place so my husband could get his fingerprints taken for his permanent residency application. Can't say I've ever been to one of those before. Took the car in for maintenance and have to go back to get a couple of things repaired. Thats the life of a car and its a necessary evil for me to get back and forth to work. It's seven and a half years old but has only 120,000 kms on it (maybe thats about 80,000 miles???), so I plan to keep it for many more years.
Last night we visited with gothclark and family and had a good time. Finally exchanged the christmas gifts! Thats where the tiger pin came in, plus we got a cat calendar and I got a giftcard for Chapters, whoo hoo! Now I have two of those. Will save them for something good...
Today we went downtown to the Distillery District because eX was in an art show. She sold two prints today. It was cold, but still a nice day, and we shared some bread at a pub, then came home. Tonight we're having a nice dinner at home and watching Season 4 of Babylon 5, loaned to us by gothclark.
