Cold
Yes, it is damn cold outside and life has been biting many of us in the ass for some time now, but you know, at least we are inside and can feel the bite on our asses. I look around and see my cats and my husband, warm and safe inside, and am happy that we are all together.
It's been stressful, this past month or so, to the point of me not logging on or posting. My husband's work permit renewal was denied (because his company screwed up the paperwork) so he had to leave Canada for a couple of weeks and then come back as a visitor. So he's back, but cannot work, and we have applied for his permanent residency, but that takes months to go through and we're just going to have to learn the art of patience...And the amount of paperwork involved is incredible. Our personal and financial lives are under scrutiny and it's crazy. Basically we have to prove our marriage is true and not one of convenience.
Anyway, it is time for dinner, so I am off. Take care, everyone, and keep warm.
