Don't Believe
I haven't posted in a while because I haven't been feeling well, a lot of it allergies-related increasing my pain and making me really fatigued, some of it from how I've run out of my usual painkillers a week and a half ago and can't get more of it until my office appointment Wednesday. The NSAIDs are not doing it for me. This was the earliest appointment I could get when I called two weeks ago; I'm seeing someone different at the office because my usual doctor doesn't have anything open until the middle of November. I am resentful as hell. This whole stupidity of being forced to make an appointment when I'm running out of my meds instead of seeing the doctor regularly, plus not getting anything to cover the time between appointments if I need it is not working for me.
Thursday at the dermatologist's office I had a skin check and the doctor did one biopsy. It didn't hurt much at the time or a few days later until Sunday, when it turned red and swollen and started killing me. I mean, to the point where my whole thigh is hurting and the muscle feels like it's bubbling from the pain. I've never had this kind of thing happen before. Today the office nurse suggested I apply Aquaphor twice a day, so I'm doing that.
The dermatologist's office is in Manhattan, so I did a little walking around afterward to make the trip more worth it. (Since the new wound didn't hurt that day. Weirdness.) They're already setting up the Christmas shopping village in Bryant Park! It's not even Halloween yet!

I'm going to have to trim these nails down soon so I wanted to take a shot while I had them. Shooting my camera phone with my left hand made it so hard to try to get a sharp photo. The color is the unfortunately discontinued Maybelline Color Show Brocades: Beaming Blue.

I've been really enjoying this final season of Mr. Robot so far. Events and people are coming together in a satisfying way. I appreciate seeing Eliot and Mr. Robot casually interacting with and taking over for each other. Sunday's "404 Not Found" was often funny as well as tense, and I never expected to hear a Concrete Blonde song, "Joey," on this show.
Should I check out Batwoman? Is it any good? I didn't like some of the commercials for it.

Thanks to some comments I recently received for some old fic of mine, I'm currently working on an Andromeda plotkitten. I haven't written anything for that show since 2016.
