There wasn't as much going on in July, so today I posted all the July photos that were fit to post: mostly window displays (Bergdorf Goodman, Dior, Chanel, and Coach) but also two St. John's Cemetery photos. They're at my Flickr account and my deviantArt, but here are some things just for here:

While at St. John's Cemetery I ran across this German inscription. Bing translator only gave me translations of the words I already knew. The inscription was in all caps, so this is my (acknowledged ignorant) best clue of how it should look.

Wednesday, my doctor was very happy with how the surgical incision from August is healing and says I don't need to see her again, just do annual an mammogram and sonogram. But she says that I may have phlebitis in my hand where the IV went--the vein is hard in one place and has inches of bruising along it nearly two months later, and the area is still tender to the touch--and she'll have the hospital's anesthesiologist call me about it. As of today I've yet to hear anything from anyone.
