Helpless
I just got an iPod mini, and it's kicking my ass. I don't know what I'm doing. I seem to be importing files to the computer library in iTunes correctly, as far as I know, but can't figure out how to transfer them to the mini. Since people were telling me that anyone could figure out how to do this, I really feel like a moron.
The booklet says iTunes will tell you how to transfer when you connect the iPod, but I have mine already connected from before I turned Blue back on again and charging its battery for the first time. (It said "Do not disconnect" on the screen so I did not disconnect.) Is that why nothing's popping up to tell me how to transfer?
To be kind, someone asked if I maybe have a defective unit, but I think it's more a defective me, that I'm doing something wrong.
I thought this could be something I could get started before I left the house but now it looks like I'm not going anywhere today, especially now that I'm downloading iTunes 7 on dial-up. ...screw it. I'll resume downloading later.
ETA: Things look like they may be happening correctly now. But how do you put the black cushion pieces on the ear phones?
