Haha! Take that, ballroom scene! *kicks it*

The HR version of the famous ballroom scene gave me more trouble than I expected, and I suspect it'll go through some revising, but I got the first draft of it down, anyways. 2000 words of chapter 2 down, and Seifer is none too happy with me. Writing romantic bits when your main character is like "F this mushy crap, let's get to the fun part! >D" is difficult, lol. Especially when he's romancing a classy girl like Rin. I think my main issue with them is that their relationship has progressed to a point, but it doesn't state how far, so I kinda just have to make up things as I go.

Also, describing dancing is bloody hard.

Colleen, I sent you the scene in an LJ message, let me know if you didn't get it. ^^

Um, let's see - finished Clash of Kings! Dizzzamn was that crazy. Tyrion is a brilliant little man, that's all I have to say. And also, was not expecting Lord Tywin to show up at the end/WTF was with the whole Renly's ghost bit? *confused* So Stannis has half of Renly's force, Joffrey has the other half, and the Starks...are fighting three enemies instead of two, and are cut off from their lands. *sadface* When do we get a Robb POV? I wanna know what's happening with my favorite King in the North. Well, maybe he and Dany'll team up. Wouldn't that be awesome? Also - YAY FOR DEAD THEON. God, I hated that guy since the first book.

Flipped through Storm of Swords briefly, noticed that Jaime gets his own POV chapters now, which pleases me. He's kind of awesome in a sociopathic, incestuous douchebag sort of way. I dunno why I like him - it might be his actor's sheer charisma score, I don't even knoooow.

Also have now made it through Ceodore and Rydia's chapters on the After Years. Have to say, I think I might be a great deal more interested if I didn't already know that the Hooded Man and Man in Black were Kain and Golbez, rofl. I mean, the game's good, but it recycles a fair number of plot points from the original. How many times are the bad guys going to try and collect the crystals? And how many times are we going to go into the Sealed Cave and freaking GET THE LAST CRYSTAL FOR THE BAD GUYS, instead of making them go get it and beating them up when they come out, all weakened from being chewed on by doors? Jesus. Made no sense the first time - doing it again doesn't make it a better idea, guys. Really.

Sleeps time nao. *passes out*
