 School has started again. I'm once again playing catch-up in Japanese, and playing skip-at-the-back-of-the-pack in Russian. Luckily I seem to actually be keeping up the motivation to study, as I've made more flashcards this week than I think I've ever made before, combined. With any luck, it will continue to go well.

 I have determined that I need to keep more snacks around. I don't eat often enough, and I don't like full-fledged cooking for just myself. And nobody else would eat three out of four things I might make for myself. It's hard enough just keeping dinner something we'll all eat, without it being boxed food six out of seven nights.  I certainly know what my limits are for drinking now. Luckily, just got a very upset stomach, and not any other unfortunate side effects. No headache or anything else typically included with a hangover. Still very glad I don't hurt myself when I puke. Spent most of the day watching Avatar, the Last Airbender, in between doing other things. LIke cleaning a good chunk of my bathroom, and making an awesome dinner of steak and mashed potatoes and broccoli.

This weekend was productive... Really, it kinda sorta was. Despite the fact that I spent four out of every five waking hours playing Baldur's Gate 2, I still made halfway decent progress on life.

Well, my mom visited today, and we were going to make pie, but she went home before we had a chance to. But I made the pie on my own anyway. It looks like it'll turn out just fine, too. Even if rolling out pie crust is friggin' insane to do without a proper rolling pin. But still, I like baking, so it was fun.

They deserve their own food group, honestly. I could live off of cheese its and peppermint for a week or two, and probably not notice too many ill effects. Then again, I'm somewhat oblivious, and there probably would be many ill effects. I just wouldn't notice them until they were either major or irreversible.

I swear I'm spamming messages here because they matter... Not. Anyway. I made clam chowder just a bit ago, even though it is hot as hell. I cut the recipe out of the book into quarters, and made up a few extra things as well. I added garlic, cut down on the onion, doubled the bacon. I love bacon. Anyway.
