I finally did it, and my horrible mill job of over 3 years is just a closed chapter in the saga of my life. I pretty much just walked out.. or should I say "ninja'd my way out undetected and only to the knowledge of a very select few"
and I feel like a new man. The best part of it all, I got another job about 2 hours after I got home. I hung up the framing belt and I'm trying my luck as a half student/half carpenter. My dad really needs the help, and he actually wanted to tell me I could quit there if I wanted to give him a hand. And, unlike Ama-hoe/Hoe-Pex, he's giving me off the tuesday and thursdays I need for school, which starts next week. I'd say all is going well for your homie gregg. The carpenter job isn't all that bad. I like my "boss" (obviously), ALOT better than my snaggle tooth idiot supervisor in that hellhole. The only downside...it's outside all day in horrible alabama heat, but the lemonade in this setback is that my ladykiller tan is on point.
I have no idea how much im gettin paid. I haven't even asked. The only thing I'm worried about it makin the rent and having gas money to commute back and forth to carrollton..which might suck if gas prices keep goin up. I'm gonna shut up about gas though, because I hear someone bitch about it every day. It's justified though, because when i first started driving it was about .89c
ANYWHO..
That's about all I have to say...holla
