I had a really fun time visiting my friends last week. I got there on Tuesday and came back today. In between, I lazed around, helped proofread a book, read a couple of books, visited the Turku Book Fair and made some really nice finds in the second hand stalls and visited the Food Fair as well, sampling everything.

We don't really celebrate Valentine's Day in Finland, though the local post office has been trying to promote it as a "friendship day" for some years already. Stil, this meme seems cute, so why not :).

ARGH!!! I'm so anxious that I have to wait until next week before I find out whether I'll be able to get the last weekend of May free from work or not :/. The reason? TegoMass's second visit to Stockholm, Sweden, has finally been officially confirmed (more info).

I just returned back to town from a visit with some friends. I had a really relaxing and fun time there, and considering I've read 9,5 books (I'll make that reading post another day) in six days, I'd say I accomplished something as well. I had a very relaxing time at my mother's and the weather was really wonderful throughout my stay, but now I'm trying to desperately catch up with my f-list (just the personal ljs at the moment), though I suspect even skimming through is going to take quite a while...

Okay, my bags are packed (with plenty of entertainment, music, dvds and books) and now I only need to take a shower and take out the trash, and then I'm off to my mother's for a few days. I'll probably be back either on Wednesday or Thursday. I just hope the weather stays clear!

Only 20 minutes left and I'll start my first stretch of Summer holiday (I have another couple of weeks off late June-early July). YAY!

Plans include catching up with my drama backlog, general resting and lazing about, but I'm also planning on going to visit my mother for a few days.
