Supernatural
Today was the promo showing of Supernatural's pilot episode in a local movie theatre that I'd mentioned before. It was arranged by Subtv, the channel which is going to show the program starting next Autumn.
My first impressions of the show are that Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles looked very nice and there was a good balance between the monster-of-the-week stuff and the longer story arc that probably lies beneath the action. It was a bit scary for me, but in a good way - nothing too bad, just the usual shock effects that made me jump a few times.
The music was very "Buffy", but it worked in heightening the tension during that kind of scenes and giving way to humour in other scenes ("Highway to Hell", etc. :)).
I'm definitely going to watch more when they start showing it here.
