You know what, Lovecraft was one crazily creative and messed up dude. I mean not just for his stories about amazing elder gods, but some of the things he thought up... I mean what kind of person do you have to be to imagine a spectrum of colour, no earthly creature has ever seen, that can... kill people. the monster is a COLOR. I mean, wtf? Thats genius! How amazing a writer do you have to be to make a color scary. Lovecraft was awesome, pure awesome. If he were still alive today, I would bow down in respect of his ability... even if he did rape the english language nine ways from sideways (I know that made no sense but you understand!)
So yes, a little advice from the zombie queen today, read a new lovecraft story today. If you've never read him, you need to start. If your an old fan, read something new, or re-read a favorite. Lets all jsut appreciate how truly messed up and wonderful that man and his talents were.
