So I got a call last week from my local library. I had requested Jean Hunnisett's Period Costume for Stage and Screen: Patterns for Women's Dress 1500-1800. This is the second time I requested the book, but the first time they actually called me saying that they had it, a month after my second request. So I go to the library to pick it up. And guess what? Its the wrong one. Its the 1800-1909 - which my library already has - which I've already checked out! Sheesh. I got all excited for nothing :( And of course the lady who handles the inter-library loans is on vacation this week, so its not until I can get to the library next week that I can even start the whole process again.
