As promised, here are pics of the fabric that I am using to make my 18th century stays.
This is a close-up showing the individual threads that I matched to my turquoise silk for binding (and the thread of course). I am worried though that my silk is too flowy for binding, so I am trying to find some ribbon to use instead.
