Hey guys. Here's whats been goin on lately!
Well, Sam's trip down here was sweet. The rock show was intense. I breakdanced on stage with my friends, and did a bunch of stupid stuff to get attention. It was hilarious and a grand ol' time. Had a chat with Sam, and we decided that dating out of province is pretty tough, and that it would be best if we were just friends. It was a tough call to make, for the both of us, but hey, life goes on.
Work the past week was alright. The new people are doing pretty good, and its great to finally see some relief at the office. I washed my car, and rediscovered how awesome it is to have clean headlight lamps. With this new found pride in my car, I decided to take it on a little trip. Danielle Hopkins and myself went to go visit Shalane at the U of A. Wow. What a fun trip. It was sooo good to have a little holiday to unwind. I have decided that life at rez is pretty cool, aside from paying for parking at that stupid little lot. Man, I hated that!! Walked around West Ed, and found NOTHING. How can you find nothing you wanna buy in the biggest mall in the world. wtf. Crazy. I must be getting obsessively picky or something. Anyhow, I thought I'd have nothing to show for my little trip, but we took a stroll down Whyte ave. Thats a cool little place. Reminds me of 17th av. Anway they had a sweet little music store there. Kinda like the one off Empire Records. Anyway they had Moneen for only six bucks, and a band I never heard of for pretty cheap, so I picked them up. I had been looking for I can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business for the whole trip, but couldn't find anything. Then, we walked another block and God revealed to me an amazing store like nothing I had ever seen before. It was, a MEGATUNES music store. Holy SHART!! I went in there, and they had an entire end of the store dedicated to Alternative/punk/emo. I freaked out. Of course they had I can Make a Mess.. so I snatched it up quickly. Score! We had to leave real quick, but I'm pretty sure I could go broke in a place like that. Wow.
The drive home was pretty good too. Shalane let me burn a sweet worship cd with all the songs I'm gonna be doing at 4square, so it was good times on the way back. Right now I'm so pumped up for leading a team. I just love being up on stage seeing all those kids up in the front worshipping God and jumping around having a blast. Its great! This week I'm gonna practice hard for sure.
Prolly going to catch up with a few people this week, but I've decided taht I'm gonna hang out around home a lot more. I got a little bit sick cuz I've been running around all busy for the last little bit. Must make more time to chill!
