Hello Friends
Hello there friends. Long has it been since I have written in my dull little corner of the internet. But here you are, and so I will write!
My two best friends are leaving to begin the next chapter of their lives within 6 days of each other. Trevor Williams leaves for Africa tomorrow, and carries with him all the love and blessings a brother such as myself can give him. 5 months are gonna fly by for you buddy. God bless, stay safe, and show those people God's love man.
Not to be forgotten, Reston Paquette is moving on the 18th to, perhaps, an even more remote and desolate place than Africa! Reston goes to Cudworth Saskatchewan *pa-too TING!* (a little inside, whatever.) Its a little ways away, but for some reason, I have this sinking feeling that I'm not rid of him quite yet. (haha just kidding bud!)
Now, with my two best friends goofing off to whereverland, I have undertaken some serious retail therapy. I bought myself a purty Line6 FlextoneXL 250w guitar amp, and a 1986 Japanese front bumper for my car. If any of you dont agree that both are sweet, I will fight you. That is no lie.
I've also bought a number of new cds. Weezer's blue album (FOUR BUCKS!!), Straylight Run, and Hawthorne Heights. All are fantastic and I highly recommend them.
You might think that "Whoa. Dave has completely gone nuts." ha. Fools. You forget that I am completely awesome and by some amazon magic I still fit into my monthly budget for savings and rent! "How does he do it?" you ask? Well I just said amazon magic! nuff said.
I have a tryout for 4square's worship team this saturday. That is thoroughly exciting, because I will have a use for my big azz amp if I get placed on a team, and then I could play songs and it would be super fun and great. That reminds me, I should outfit my amp with wheels so I can move it around. Friggen thing is heavy!!
Speaking of music, Imminent Return is having a show on Sunday, Jan 23 when my Sammy will be in town! I'm even MORE pumped for that weekend now! Whats better is I got the Monday off as well! Does it get any better?? I can't see how!
Anyway, I don't feel like writing anything anymore.
