The Importance of Shoes [open]

Shoes are important things. Practically, they protect one's feet from all manner of dirt and sharp pointy things. Aesthetically, they provide a means of shaping the legs and finishing an outfit. Socially, they practically scream the wearer's personality and concerns out loud.

So when one, say a young woman just past the first bloom of youth and just into the fun parts of being pregnant, cannot find a single pair of shoes that fit in an entire (massive) closet, there's only one thing to do: go shopping.

Well, have a little tantrum, a good cry, and then go shopping. But the shopping is the important part. Shopping is fun, and very good for cheering a certain young woman's spirits; especially shopping in the Nexus with all its fabulous and magical wonders. She might even be calm enough to be approached.
