Stupid question of the day.
Net geeks, I need your expertise.
I have a domain name registered through eNom, and I'd like to change it to 1&1. It's purely for convenience purposes, so I kinda don't want to hear about if 1&1 sucks or something (they haven't given me any problems so far; I'm really not in the mood for shopping for a new webhost).
I had to get this domain off of an auction for a friend's store, which is why eNom has it in the first place.
The domain registration expires on January 9th. When I try to use 1&1 to transfer, I get a message saying 'this domain may not be transferred.' Is this because it hasn't expired yet and I'll have to wait for the 9th, or am I going to have to re-register through eNom?
