Abandon hope in Times Square
The Rock Center Tree lighting was last night, and that means tourist season is officially here. From now through New Years midtown is going to be packed. Yesterday morning there was a NASCAR race from 53rd to 42nd street, and my building was barricaded. Times Square was packed with racing fans and drivers at 8:30 in the morning.
Didn't go away for Thanksgiving this year. My plan to have sushi and mashed potatoes was foiled, but made lasagna instead. Played football on Saturday and went to Grant's Tomb and Dinosaur BBQ with Tonyz on Sunday. Got Tiger Woods for Wii... not a huge fan of golf games, but this one is really fun. The announcing and sound effects are great.
