Livejournal has removed the audio captcha feature that makes it easier for visually impaired users to start accounts.  If you want to help them get it back, you can open a support request to ask LJ to do so.

I will be participating in the LJ strike this Friday.  It may be an empty gesture, but one of the reasons SA and SUP feel they can dick us around with impunity is our overall lack of solidarity and conviction.  True, this is mostly due to the fact that we are extremely decentralized and consensus is therefore difficult to reach, but I still intend ( Read more... )
