Current Events
A) Last night I had a floor-scraping party with Ashley, her roommate Jenni, and their friend Scott (who is becoming my friend, and new friends are cool.) I appreciate them coming over to help so, so much. Seriously. We made a considerable dent, but there is still more to be scraped. Unnnggh.
B) Before that, we went to see The Happening. It was alright. I thought the acting was a bit lackluster (even thought I love Zooey Deschanel; see icon,) and there definitely could've been more to the plot, compared with M. Night Shyamalan's past movies. It was entertaining, just not something I'd be jumping up and down to see again.
C) I spent the night with Ashley, and eventually we went to the mall, where I got three new bras. Victoria's Secret is having their big Semi-Annual Sale, so I found red, brown, and purple bras all in the same size/style. They're standard, everyday, comfy bras, and I was sorely in need of them. I wanted to get a fancier, sexier bra, but seeing as how I got the three for LESS than the cost of the more sexy ONE, I couldn't justify it.
D) Speaking of Victoria's Secret, the bathing suit I ordered from the catalog should be here any day now. Eeeee. I hope it fits.
E) James and I are planning a photoshoot for Sunday. He's got some merch that he needs pictures of (crinolines, shoes, other random bits.) I also want to get some decent shots to put on a Model Mayhem profile. That's right, I'm thinking of trying to model. For MONEY. Imagine that! I've always enjoyed modeling stuff for James, and cosplaying is really just glorified modeling...so we'll see how it pans out.
F) Raun is tentatively planning a visit for the first week of July!!!!! EEEE! I can barely control my excitement! Sean and Ashley (of the KC variety) are going to be in Charleston that week, so we're hoping to meet up with them there, or convince them to meet us in Asheville. I can't wait to see my baby!!
