Today started out better. But I'll contrast with a roundup of yesterday. Topshop has claimed the coveted #1 spot for Fugliest attire in the universe. Skinny strech demin jeans in bananna yellow, grape ape purple and strawberry red. Closthes so thoroughly 80's-esque that they are in fact more reminiscent of the 80's than anything from that era.   ( Read more... )

Last night waqs a nice dinner at Bibendum, a restaurant thened after the iconic Michelin Man. NUNC IST BIBENDUM. The restaurant has lots of creepy larger than life stained glass imagery of a turn of the century michelin man who looks very much like cookie monstaer and the stay puff marshmellow man had a baby. We made it. The flight over wasn't so bad. The "new Delta" is surprisingly more pleasant than the old Delta-- we were delayed 25 minutes and apologized to profusely. It's hard to criticize an airline's incompetence when they're being nice. Also there was more legroom.
