HAPPY NEW YEAR!
My new computer should be built in the next few weeks, I can't wait. I used my Christmas money and ordered the Asus A8V Deluxe Via Socket 939 ATX Motherboard and AMD Athlon 64 3400+ Processor this morning. My first computer had the original AMD Athalon processor in it back around '99. Now I'm looking at different lighted fans to put in the clear side window of my case. My mom is going to give me five sticks of memory, she already bought me a really good power supply with a quiet fan, my case and is going to put it all together for me. I'll finally be able to play the Sims 2 without crashing my system and get better performance in Poser 5. I have to scrounge up the cash for a new graphics card next.
I'm going to my friend Lisa's New Year's Eve get together tonight, I can't wait until 2005 gets here. I was supposed to go the diner with Rob, Sean and Mari last night but Sean's car broke down in Glen Burnie. I had a good time just taking a long bath and watching Father Ted's first season. Now I'm going to fuss with the new DVD player/ surround sound set we bought at Target with gift cards that were for use as emergency gifts if someone bought us something; we ended up not using them and just getting something we wanted.
