By Monday I'll be an expert on the House of Habsburg
I like my Ottoman Empires professor, but since I added that class late I'm a week and twelve chapters behind. She asked me if I just wanted to drop the class but it was too late to sign up for anything else and I'm still optimistic. I'm going to have to work my ass off this weekend though. At least this class only has four books compared to the seven that I needed for People of the Native Americas last semester.
A week until the Sims2, I'm positively rabid with anticipation at this point. I can't wait to nurture/torture my little people and generally play God. I'd be tempted to dig out Black and White to fill the gap but I need to be good and study.
I'm going to the Renfest next weekend and I'm geeky enough to be excited. I went to my first one last year, got rather drunk on mead and ogled kilted men. I hope I can get good jousting seats this year, last year I had to stand and peek over shoulders. It was hard to be upset while scarfing down frozen chocolate dipped cheesecake though.
