(no subject)
Last day of official freedom!
Going to be busy today though ... need to swing by the grocery store and pick up some healthy snacks to take with me to work. Then I have a massage at noon and a zoom meeting with the new employers at 2pm to discuss stuff like time cards and mileage. I may or may not go drive my useless nephew to the courthouse to see a judge since he and his roommate have escalated their fight to the level of calling the cops on each other. If I take him, I'm just going to give him $20 for a taxi home because I'm not going to sit around waiting if he doesn't have an actual appointment to see the judge. Then I have a CE class tonight ... supposed to have one in half an hour but if I do that, I have to skip the groceries or the massage or the coffee ... not going to happen LOL
I'm also going to try to actually finish the "It Can Only Get Better" short story today since I have no idea what my schedule is going to look like. Might be Monday through Friday 9-5 but it could also easily be back to 12 hour days if we are setting up tents in someone's parking lot. I just don't know how they're setting this up. At least giving vaccines isn't going to be as stressful for us as running a pharmacy is. No cash register, no telephone interrupting us every 5 minutes, no drive-up window, and no line of angry customers who hate waiting. Everybody will have an appointment and I think we will have plenty of time to get everything done before we move on to the next patient. Or at least when I went online to look for times for myself it looked like it was 15 minutes apart. I'm hoping we won't be doing 12 hour days though...
