Hmmm ... I got my schedule for next week today. We are doing 5-hour clinics Monday through Friday! Honestly, 5 hours?? What kind of a clinic is that anyhow? People can't come in to get a vaccine during their normal workday--they need to schedule at least 8 hour days and have some time after 5 so folks can come in and get a shot. Besides, who can live on 25 hours a week? I won't be able to, that's for sure. I got the definite impression this was going to be a full-time position, too. 30-40 hours a week was what I was expecting...
Also, one of the clinics is a 50-minute drive from here! I also don't like that looming in the future. I was also told I'd be working in Greenville, not driving all over the Upstate ... Dammit, Jim, I'm a vaccinator, not a traveling salesman!
At least I will have plenty of free time to write -- not that I'm making any money at that. If I don't start selling some of these stories, I'm not sure what I'll do. You'd think somebody would like at least one of them. At least I still have 2 clients who pay me regularly for content writing ... Of course, we're talking $100 max, so that's not really paying many bills either. Maybe I should put out some more gay erotica novellas ...
