Everyone made it to the beach safely. We arrived a bit early and had to wait 30 minutes for Housekeeping to finish cleaning, but the main street of Garden City Beach has 2 gyms and 2 Poke-stops for Pokemon Go so we were amused while waiting.
We've brought plenty of complicated and cutthroat board games to play, my Alexa Echo for radio background, Cards Against Humanity (of course), and even Legos for Jer to play with. Not sure if we're going to one of our old-standby recreation areas or not -- Putt-Putt golf and/or Brookgreen Gardens.
We are all saddened to lose Ruth Bader Ginsberg but trying to enjoy our week off without worrying too much about the state of our country and what this means for the future of womankind.
The house has brand new deck chairs, so I believe I will take my coffee or a Mexican Coke and go work on a story of some sort.
