I have signed up for a Thing ...
The Summer Festival of Writing is a 4-month virtual convention (they have a payment plan!) that gives you access to famous authors, agents, editors, and advice. It's pretty much every day but Sundays and even if you don't attend every single session, you'll get your money's worth by the end of June (IMHO). They've even got Neil Gaiman for one class -- and *bing* "Shut up and take my money!"
I can hardly wait until June 1 ... squee
I've also decided to try out a new-ish bar in town. It's a wine- and whiskey-tasting place appropriately named Sip. I kept seeing their sign when I did physical therapy because it's in the same building, but never visited. Now that I've taken a wine appreciation class on my MasterClass website, I think we should have a wine-tasting before we go to the beach this year! I'm inviting pretty much everybody ... that'll be Sept. 18 if you'd like to join us.
