what is mint sauce? is it something you make or buy? it's not something i've heard of before, which makes me guess you are a long way from Mississippi. :)

Yeah, I think it's quite a British thing :) It's a sauce which is basically made of mint and vinegar, quite strong-tasting, traditionally served with roast lamb.

I don't know what kind of grocery stores are around, but if you have a Kroger you might check their generic "International Foods" isle. Ours has a little bit of a lot of things, including some British condiments and things, and I think I've specifically seen mint sauce there. I don't live in Mississippi, but I do live in a moderately sized city in Tennessee, so maybe you'll get lucky and yours will have it too?
