Supernatural 5.12
This is gonna be pretty short, since I don't have a lot of ~feelings~ about this particular episode. I liked it way better than the previous episode. It wasn't revolutionary or very significant to the general arc, but it was entertaining. It found it to be fun; nothing less, nothing more. I wouldn't have minded this filler at all it there hadn't been too many filler this season. It had a light sort of tone to it, and it would've been a nice break from the gloomy apocalypse stuff, had we actually gotten any of that. And there were no pudding jokes! Hurray!
More importantly, I am STOKED for this weeks episode! Like, YOU GUYS. MISHA IS BACK. CAS IS BACK TO STAY. AND HE WILL MAKE EVERYTHING BETTER, WHILE BLEEDING PRETTILY AND GETTING THE BOYS ALL CONCERNED. AGHHH!

Can I just say that I absolutely love House/Wilson wars? Mainly because they result in make-up sex. You know it.
It would've been fun to see another prank war, but it feels like their relationship is maturing. And Wilson's unyielding belief in House's inherent goodness makes my heart melt EVERY GODDAMN TIME. James loves Greg <3.
Chase's new look is really growing on me. Jesse is wearing it quite well, I gotta say. <3
Foreman was likable this episode, and it was interesting to learn a bit about his family history.
However, I really wish we'd get more insight into Chase. I mean, yes, we know that his mom drank and his dad left, and we got that one episode where his dad came to say goodbye without actually saying it. But even then, it felt shallow and I would've loved to dwell deeper in a study of his character.
Foreman always gets quite a lot of focus, Thirteen got a lot with the Huntington's Chorea (although there's not much about her lately, either), and Taub got some with the whole ordeal about his marriage and the reason he left his own clinic to work for House.
So, yeah. I just want some more Chase.

Please explain to me again why THE FUCK ABC cancelled it after 8 episodes? It was SO good and had such potential! And why did it not simply get picked up by another network? Seriously, it makes me really sad to have missed out on what could've been a phenomenal show. And we never got to know what the deal was.
Also, Matthew Bomer and Logan Marshall-Green as fugitives with no-one to trust but each other? My fangirlish heart weeps for the unfulfilled slash potential. Weeps.

Words cannot even express how much I love this show and how much it means to me. I adore everything about it, and it was phenomenal, revolutionary television at its best.
Brain Kinney is one of my all time favourite fictional characters, and I miss Gale Harold's genius portrayal of the character.
