Yeah, I'm a bit late and it's probably irrelevant at this point, but I cannot contain my joy an longer, so.
I have to say that I really really enjoy all the general squeeing that's been going around. Fandom, I love it when we're all in agreement and delighted. ♥

Anna! I love you, Anna. I know a lot of you don't, and honestly I was pretty neutral about Anna from the beginning, but I freaking adore Julie McNiven. Mostly because she is a stunning, adorable redhead who wears "minion" buttons. ♥
Anyway, all I knew about this episode was that they were going back to the past and that Castiel was due to bleed prettily. So I was happy to see Anna!
I didn't really like that she had gone "evil." I mean, I see exactly where she's coming from, but. I kept hoping she wouldn't be mad at Cas, and I sadfaced at the very beginning when she told Dean that Cas had turned her in. I was concerned that perhaps this would affect Dean's perception of Cas, or something, but no! And really, what was I thinking. Cas blew up in Chuck's hair for Dean. Their love is ~unwavering~. ♥
I also decided that Cas/Anna would be so gorgeous together that I am ready for some smutty het fic. Rec me?
This is the part where we gush about how ~adorable~ Cas is, because he does not get that reference. ♥ ♥ Oy, Cas. You are so precious my heart melts.
And Semah! No! You will not sacrifice yourself, and Anna is not right! Now shut up and let me braid your hair, m'kay? ♥
I was a little upset that Dean expected--or rather, demanded--that Cas sacrifice himself for him yet again. I mean, really. I know it had to be because otherwise we wouldn't have had an episode, but still. There are other ways to go about this, okay? It's just as reasonable to time travel because, say, KY isn't what it used to be and Dean's feeling ~adventurous~ and wants to see how different it is today.
Moving on.
Bleeding, fainting Castiel was just as pretty as I remembered him. Please make more cameos, bb.
Lols, Sam is a perverted gaping fish who drools at his mother XD. I guess they haven't forgotten that "Sammy, whereever you are -- Mom's a babe," from last season.
Mary-Anna fight was kickass and hot.
Family road trip was awkward and adorable and made me squee.
Sam forgiving John just broke my heart. Such a wonderfully acted scene. ♥ Show, this is why ilu hard.
Dean telling Mary he's her son twisted my heart even more so. And then Sam coming into the scene, and both boys being so serenely ok with just not being. I was yelling at the tv. Enough with the self-sacrifice, Winchesters!
Oh, and when Mary revealed she was already carrying little Dean... wow. That must've been so weird for Dean.
Okay, now on to the most exciting thing:

Before I go on to squee about this, am I the only one to take some time to catch on to the fact that he was present? When the light came flooding after Sam died (Semh!!!♥♥) I thought we were going to have a ~revelation~ or something. And then Anna was all, "Michael." in her petrified voice.

Now. Can we please, please keep Matt Cohen? Like, for real. He was so good, and his sexiness as Michael made me want to take off all my clothes for him. (I'd keep my socks on, obviously.)

So, the whole blood-line thing. A lot of people were suspecting it. But I'm a bit confused. I mean, if Michael can get inside John... does that mean Michael can also get inside Sam, and Lucifer can get inside Dean? Because that... would be kind of awesome. I itch for it really. At least in fic. Because honestly, I see Michael having a much easier time convincing Sam to say yes to him (so far as it's Nick who he has to kill). I mean, I know Michael isn't exactly on the "good guys" team, but I think Sam would much rather be his prom dress than Luci's.
Also, I want fic wherein Michael goes after Castiel. My fingers are itching to write. Bunnies, please stop attacking, 'kay. I have to study and I'm already dizzy as is.

Yes, yes. I know it's a show about the Winchesters. And I have been a fan since day one, before Cas came along. But it was season 4 that wrapped its claws on my hearts and hasn't let go since.
I'm just a little worried that this is how it's gonna be for the rest of the season. Which would suck immensely, because Misha is supposed to be a regular.
Bleh. Misha Collins, you have spoiled me. I'd be mad if you weren't such a hotass charismatic bastard. I was never this pathetically obsessed with someone before you -- not even when I was 11 and liked the Backstreet Boys.
