"... Frau von Karma?" Who the hell would be DUMB enough to abduct Franziska von Karma? Everyone knew her. Her whip was the only thing that stung more than her words, and... well, he knew from experience, really. Klavier woke up later than she did, of course, so she's probably been wandering awhile--it seemed they just woke up here, like that, and he found her by happenstance. Or luck.
Whatever the reason? He was glad someone he knew of, at least, was around. "Perhaps you should calm down..." He's not dumb enough to get too close to that viper she called a whip, though. Not just yet.

"Don't tell me what to do! A von Karma is not one to be commanded!" she barked angrily, obviously not recognizing Klavier. "You will tell me where I am this instant!"
That wasn't a question. It was a demand.

He's getting closer anyway. No use staying around; his courage was back, as was his sense (or lack thereof), so he didn't think there was anything wrong with a little flirting. Besides, he'd been whipped before. It wasn't THAT bad.
"And it was merely a suggestion. If you whip everyone we meet, Frau, we will not get to the bottom of this if they are scared off. And I am well aware of who you are. Did you forget who I am?"

... Although that didn't really explain the whip.

"It has to be Alba's men... There would be no one else who'd try to kidnap me..." Franziska mumbles to herself but as soon as that thought entered her mind, it seems to make he angry again. "Only a foolish fool at the bottom of a foolish pit of foolhardy fools would foolishly think that this would stop me...!"
She swings her whip again in frustration. Watch out, Neku. You may or may not get hit.

"Hey!" he shouted, raising a fist in the air. "You wanna watch where you're swinging that thing!?"

"It's not my fault if someone foolishly walks into it like a fool!" she retorts, argument being as natural to her as the act of breathing. "I might stop once I get answers as to where and why I'm here and not at the courthouse!"

"Hey, ma'am! You okay?" That whip looked awfully dangerous...as if they really needed more dangeorus people in this city.

"What kind of fool would ask a foolish question like that so foolishly?! I'm not where I am supposed to be, my clothes are wet, and I have important business to attend to! Does it look like I'm okay?!"

"You, know, I was exactly like you a few days ago. This place is called Vatheon, it's underwater, and nobody can get back home." Vash took a few steps closer to her. Hopefully, she wouldn't hit him with that whip of hers. "It'll take some time to get used to this place, sicne you're here for wa while."

"It's underwater and there's no way out...?" she folds her arms across her chest, and silently contemplates this.
"... That's ridiculous."

He bites down on his tongue by accident and freezes in his spot. At least she couldn't see him yet. He was behind her, standing on the street corner like an idiot when he really should be RUNNING FOR HIS LIFE. The apple falls from his hand and he takes a step back, shaking his head.]
N-Noooo....

What is with that unsightly reaction, Phoenix Wright?! It's been a month since our last meeting, and this is the greeting I get? Only a fool as foolish as the fool you are would foolishly forget his manners like a fool!
[Some things never change.]
