Happy Halloween!
The moment darkness settles on the island like a thick blanket, the jack-o-lanterns lining the path up the the warehouse light up all at once. A beat after, the warehouse lights up too, light flooding out of the opened doors and windows, illuminating the decorations put in front of the glass window panes. And then the music starts playing. It's a cheesy tune certainly, but it is music none the less.
Inside, the party has been laid out in the grand hall of the warehouse. There are tables loaded with all sorts of refreshments, from punch to cookies and chips. A large area has been left open for dancing, and a mist machine is near set up nearby to help generate a spooky atmosphere. Or a cheesy one, at the very least. Another corner has been set up with games, vats filled with water for apple-bobbing, a small set-up for what seems to be a scary story contest. Finally one of the longer hall-ways in the warehouse has been decorated as well, becoming an impromptu haunted house. Corridor. Thing. Either way, it does seem the perfect place to go through with a date, and perhaps catch some fear-induced clinging and hugs.
The Station Master is there too, ready to shepherd party-goers up to the island, and for once he has replaced his normal jaunty cap with a silly hat with a fake arrow stuck in it. His smile is a jovial as ever, though he does attempt to tell one or two scary jokes on the ride up.
