Vatheon's First Annual Devil's Night
Characters: Duncan and anyone unfortunate enough to be outside.

While everyone had been busy gearing up for Halloween, Duncan had been preparing all week to celebrate his favorite holiday: Devil's Night. The night before Halloween celebrating mischief, mayhem, and disorder...usually within reason, buuuut Duncan decided this little cultural exchange demanded a little more civil disorder than the holiday was known for back home. After all, he had to make Vatheon's first Devil's Night a memorable one, right? And since getting the supplies had pretty much wiped out every dime he'd earned working at the bike shop so far, the little vandal was determined to carry things out on a grander scale than usual.
So, at around 8pm Vatheon, things are gonna start a-poppin'. Seriously: Those loud booms that you're hearing? Those would be paint bombs going off. Luckily Duncan's budget had restricted him to just a few dozen, which means actual damage to property from the blasts will be minimal. But the giant paint splatter skulls covering multiple buildings (and unfortunate pedestrians) are definitely new, as well as various other symbols. All told there's about only five such markings throughout the city's middle district, and two more in the residential district, but they're definitely eye-catching...just as much as the "improvements" Duncan's made to much of the city's standing water. From the fountain in the plaza to the swimming pool, he's dumped a wonderful combination of red food coloring and beef stock (the larger bodies of water, like the pond in the park, are exempt. He doesn't have THAT much time). This is just the kickoff though- Duncan's got more "activities" planned, both for himself and anyone who wants to join in. Let the cultural appreciation begin.
