[JUDGING He is walking along, for once not on the rooftops (gasp!) but on the ground.

Oh hey it's Saya.

So he wanders over, silent as always, to investigate, and when he realizes what she's doing, he grins.]

I didn't know that you're so fond of wildlife.

[She still has to get used to someone being able to sneak up on her. But hey, it's Matthew. No big surprise there.]

You do what you have to if you want to kill time. Figure that this was as good a cause as any.

It is pretty boring here, when there aren't monsters or flooding or random gender-changing jellyfish.

Don't forget the pigeons. I'm doing them a favor too. Just hope they don't get used to it.

I'd have to agree! But hey, the change of pace is nice every now and then.

[Touka is walking along through the park when she spots a trail of breadcrumbs. Huh? Why is there.......she, of course, follows it, searching intently for where it leads. To treasure? To a gingerbread house? Oh, she hopes she doesn't get eaten! And leads her to......oh! A girl! The girl looks slightly older than her. But maybe they can still be friends? She smiles.]

Hi, I'm Touka Kishi. Nice to meet you.

[She pauses.]

Hey, do you know why there's a trail of breadcrumbs? Is there treasure? Or a gingerbread house?

[Now... well, this is unexpected. But Saya easily manages a smile in response to the other girl. How cute! A treasure? Gingerbread house? Man, if only.]

Saya Minatsuki, nice to meet you too!

But I'm sorry it's nothing quite so prestigious. More like the trail's for the birds. Though who knows? Maybe if we get on their good side, they'll give us a hint about a treasure around here! They've been here longer than any of us, anyway.

For the birds? Oh, my friend Ao-chan can talk to birds. Maybe they can tell us where the treasure is?

Jeeze, you're the most carnivorous cat I've ever met.

[Inuyasha has been sitting there for a while, but not on the path. Instead, he's up in a tree, lying on a branch and looking at the sky. When he hears someone below, he looks down, raising an eyebrow upon seeing the girl throwing breadcrumbs on the ground. That seems like a waste of food.]

[Well, as she's looking around to see if she is, in fact, attracting any birds or squirrels, she manages to catch sight of him. ... Huh. And out of pure curiosity, she strikes up a conversation.]

Hey! You hungry?

If you expect me to eat those breadcrumbs, then you can just keep walking.

Well, I do have lunch packed in my bag- but I don't know if it'll suit your appetite.
