[Inuyasha has been sitting there for a while, but not on the path. Instead, he's up in a tree, lying on a branch and looking at the sky. When he hears someone below, he looks down, raising an eyebrow upon seeing the girl throwing breadcrumbs on the ground. That seems like a waste of food.]

[Well, as she's looking around to see if she is, in fact, attracting any birds or squirrels, she manages to catch sight of him. ... Huh. And out of pure curiosity, she strikes up a conversation.]

Hey! You hungry?

If you expect me to eat those breadcrumbs, then you can just keep walking.

Picky, huh?

Well, I do have lunch packed in my bag- but I don't know if it'll suit your appetite.

[Aaaand rummaging through her bag, pulling out a riceball in one hand, a sandwich in the other.]

Take your pick, pal. Well, if you want to, anyway.

[Jumps down from the tree, landing lightly in front of her. He sniffs the food slightly, then straightens up and looks down at her.]

Weren't those for you?

[Aaaand that lets her get a look at those ears. Huh! That's new. Still, she only grins.]

That's why I said pick. I'll get what's left over.

[Normally he'd refuse, but he IS pretty hungry...]

Keh! Fine.

[So he picks the sandwich and sits down to eat it.]

[And at that, she has to hold in laughter.]

[Looks at her and scowls. He can tell she's about to laugh at him >:|]

[All she can do is grin before taking a bite of the leftover rice ball.]

[Still, despite her remark, she settles down next to him.]
