Characters: Sango, Kirara, and whoever shows up Location: The plaza, near the coral [see what I did thar?] Time: Late afternoon Style: Whatever you'd like! Status: OPEN
[Miroku heard from Hiten that people arrive here all the time, and they would be found in this location, like he was. For the small chance Sango would arrive, along with him. Luckily for his sanity she was only days after him. So all the loyal waiting by the coral paid off as she was casted nearby.
The monk approached her. He dare not utter a word before pulling her into his embrace which she probably saw coming.
Thank god. She was alive. He could rest at ease now.]
[To say she was relieved to see him up and about was an understatement. His behavior definitely wasn't unusual, but Sango didn't quite know where it had come from or what he was talking about. Her cheeks very clearly turned pink.]
I am, but... [She moved her head to try to make eye contact with him.] what about you? Are you feeling better now?
[A cat. Albeit an odd one; it still perked his allergies. So went his lovely walk through the plaza. Ah. And an accompanied dripping wet newcomer as well. Ciel had found himself in the same situation only a few days ago.]
Good Lord, do people come in swarms here? [Hello, odd accent! He says nothing more, but will watch with his visible left eye.]
Apparently. Unfortunately, I'm quite new myself. [He pauses, sighing. Best to give her what he knew, right?]
How much do you know of this place thus far? Obviously not much considering how soaked you are... [He raises his cane to point to a store not far from the Plaza.] There's a place you can get free dry clothing just over there.
[He notices the scent before her voice reaches his ears. As he's currently in the park, it's all faint for him. But still, it's there, and he recognizes it instantly.
Jumping down from the tree he was lazing about on, Inuyasha dashes over to the plaza, only slowing down when Sango and Kirara were within view. They really had come back.]
[She's surprised at his sudden appearance for a moment. This doesn't last long, though, and she looks concerned again. If Inuyasha was nearby maybe her theory was correct...]
[Those are two faces Hubert hadn't expected to see again, though there's something distinctly off. He conceals his surprise with a straight face as he approaches, but not before taking a towel from a local, as much as he doesn't want to. It's a favor for Sango and Kirara, he reasons.
When he comes close at a respectable distance, he stops and offers her the towel without a word. Little does he know, he's no more than a stranger to them.]
[The mild surprise and confusion in her expression probably don't tell him much either, all things considered. In a completely unfamiliar place she was far less willing to trust people but... she was really wet.
Finally she tentatively takes it, looking at him a bit suspiciously.]
[Not much, indeed, except that it's a little odd. Is something about him different to warrant that confusion? When she takes the towel off his hand, he rests it on his hip.]
. . . I'm merely returning the favor.
[He didn't do it for the sake of being nice. Really.]
Though, I hadn't expected to see you or Kirara again.
What are you talking about? How did you know...? [She glances down at Kirara, but she didn't seem to be responding either positively or negatively to this person. She goes quiet for a second.]
He stopped short, shaking his head dismissively at the drenched stranger before him. Hiten tossed her a towel from a stand as he casually sipped his smoothie - he was in a rare mellow mood today, so he didn't feel the need to provoke a fight.

Sango. I'm sorry I left. Are you okay?

No, I don't really know anything. You don't seem surprised that I'm this wet.

What's going on? Where is everyone else?

Great. So you're just like Miroku, then...
[Grumbling momentarily to himself, Inuyasha tugs his hands into his sleeves.]
Don't worry. Miroku and Kagome are around here somewhere, and everyone'll be fine back in our world.

[Sango's noticeably surprised at his first mention of Miroku but finishes hearing him out.]
They are? [Pause.] What do you mean "back in our world"?
