[Phoenix, surprisingly, liked water. So this whole being stuck under water thing didn't bug him. Well, no, it bugged him. Bugged him a lot, but he wasn't going to keep himself from the water just because he was stuck underneath it. If that made sense? He hoped it did, but it didn't really matter because these were his inner thoughts.

He had been keeping to himself these past few weeks because well, everyone here was insane. At least, that's what he thought. He had been here for about three months really, if the way he was keeping time was correct -- it was May 4th. Holy crap. When he realized this, he left his apartment and wandered to the park where he came across the pond and sat at the edge of it, dipping his toes into the water. That's where he was now.

Jeans rolled up as he sat in the grass, his toes moving back in forth in the water as he watched his reflection and the tiny fishes swim about. The water was really rather clear -- clearer then the water back at home. He looked over at the ducks quacking about over near the bridge and he wondered how long had they been here, and even, if they were dragged from other universes like himself?

Such a weird city, the flood and the curses... and then that weird video. Agh! He just wanted to go home. Sure, Maya was here, and he'd never abandon her, but... people kept disappearing and appearing. Miles had been gone for months now, and well, he'd been hiding from Franziska so he's not sure what's up with her. Then there's these other people here... he sighs at that thought. Even though he's been here for a while, he hasn't made friends. Sure, he could call Klavier a friend, maybe, but they're all in the same boat -- why was he avoiding interacting with people?

Phoenix made a decision then that he would get out there more and hunt down clues. There was a secret here, but he wasn't going to figure it out alone. If he figured it out at all.]
