Crafting pieces of friendship

Kairi sat comfortably at a table outside the Victori Garden, leaning back in her chair as she worked a colorful thread around the base of a sea shell. Her tongue stuck out just slightly in concentration, eyes focused completely on her task. The surface of the small table before her was covered with loose shells, a rainbow of string, trinkets and other craft supplies, as well as one cherry soda.
It has taken her quite sometime to track down what she'd needed that morning. The right kind of needle and thread were easy enough, as the shops had a lot of brightly colored options, but the main ingredient in a Seashell Charm was-- well-- the shells, and despite being stuck in a giant city deep underneath the ocean, she had ended up searching around Vatheon for quite awhile before finding anything usable. It probably would've been easier just to ask her friends where to find them, but this was supposed to be a surprise, and even if she wasn't the best at keeping secrets she knew better than to give herself away so quickly. Sora had inadvertently given her the idea to make these by almost losing her old one, and she hoped he'd be happily surprised when she was done.
She began to hum a wordless tune as she worked, growing so focused on her crafting that she barely noticed the other people passing by.
