Light shined down on his eyes, which was never a pleasant feeling when someone is either asleep or unconscious.
This is exactly why Negi Springfield moved his hand to shield his eyes from the light, because it is a bit too bright for his comfort. It took this young boy several more seconds to register that he is not, in fact, on the bed of Asuna's dorm room as usual, and that he's not back at Mahora. Opening his eyes, which is quite a struggle due to the light, he found himself in an infirmary of sorts.
...It was then he realized that he did actually end up in this place called Vatheon, and that it is not a dream, considering his injuries from his fight with Dynamis are still there. Giving a small sigh, he moves to get out of bed.
Before he noticed a certain student is sleeping on his bedside. Giving a small smile, he recounted on how she grew up from the timid girl she was to the brave girl she is now, how she managed to stand up for herself despite all the hardships that happened to her...
It is safe to say that Negi is proud of her as her... English teacher, admittedly, but details, who really needs them anyways?
So he's going to poke Nodoka in an attempt to wake her up, after all, sleeping on the bedside like that is not really healthy.
Of course, he didn't realize that he was knocked out for more than one day.
