Well, I made it to the rally today (although not the art exhibit). I didn't see anyone I knew there, although the entire Federal Plaza was packed. Jon just called me from the immigration rally (they have the students with them -- can you imagine Jon at an immigrantion rally...it's cracking me up). He's not comming to Darfur for obvious reasons (among other things, walking the students back to the school), but one of his coworkers wanted more information. I just found out that there'll be a rally on Beltaine/May Day/May 1st/ etc... in Chicago asking for immediate action concerning the atrocities in Darfur.
