Turning 24
I remember when I was a little kid, I would countdown the days till my birthday arrived. I'd be so excited knowing that I will be turning another year older and get all enthusiastic that I will be receiving many presents.
As I grow older each year, I prefer to celebrate my birthday in a much quieter manner. No need to throw big bashes or drink myself silly. Instead, being with the people whom I love is far more important. And today, I'm glad I celebrated in the same quiet yet meaningful manner.
The bf is as wonderful as ever, throwing surprises in the most unexpected manner, bringing me out for lunch, spending time together and watching a movie after.
Friends are great as well. Many greetings and to pkaren , thank you for the brownie.
Unplanned, I am at Mum's house now with my brothers and I miss them plenty. Grateful and happy I'm here. Can't ask for more. :)
