Saturday, March 19th

Over the previous four days, March 17-20, I was on a vacation whirlwind.  I drove 145 miles round trip to see Flogging Molly in Irvine on St. Patrick's Day, then over 500 miles between Friday and Sunday on our trip up to Cambria and Paso Robles.  I had a tired when I got home!

Ahhh....Sin City. How it beckons....how it calls...how it...hangs one over.

After being a bit dry in the mouth yesterday morning from the Warp Core Breach, we decided to take things a bit easier today. Started with breakfast buffet at the Excalibur (their Round Table Buffet is really good),  then we packed up and went up the west side of the Strip ( Read more... )

We finally got off to Vegas around 11AM Monday morning.  It was a nice drive, and all the traffic was going the other way  at the end of the Memorial Day weekend.  We drove straight to Baker, CA, which is about an hour out of Vegas , for lunch.  My friends and I have always eaten at a place called "Bun Boy' there, but now Bob's Big Boy bought Bun ( Read more... )
