Stuck on Love! Eeek!
Short journal today. Hmm. At least it’s something. I'm sure nefariousintent can put a comment or two into this one...
Yeah, so, I love romance. I just love the thought of being in love. I’ve never really been in love with anyone though. Haha. Like, I’ve really liked people, but not really the love people have. I’ve always wanted to fall in love though. I think it’s something most people want. Lately I’ve been thinking a whole lot about love and all the stuff people do when they’re in love. I just can’t get it out of my head! Ahg! Haha. There’s nobody in particular who’s inspiring this sudden “love interest” (heh heh)
But even though I’m not really into anyone at the moment, I kind of wish I was. Which got to thinking, how would I meet the “perfect person”? I’ve been really getting into it. Most of my friends don’t think about this sort of thing, so I’ve been making up the perfect scenarios where they’d meet their significant other. It’s so fun. As for me, I have a new way to meet my soul mate every day. It’s crazy the stuff I come up with sometimes! But I figured I’d share some of the things that are pretty common in my fantasies. If you don’t want to read my silly imagination rambles, you should probably skip the next paragraph. Haha. This stuff is the most cliché things I think of anyway. You’d have to ask for the crazy stuff.
First off, we’d hit it off right away. We’d meet by some circumstance, and when we meet, it’d be like BAM! Instant attraction. I say that most likely because that’s how it usually happens with people I like. So I figured my soul mate would do it too. As for how we would meet exactly, it depends on the sex. I’m a pretty solid bi. (I can’t for the life of me just pick boys or girls. THEY’RE BOTH SO GREAT!) If my soul mate is a girl, I always saw us meeting at an anime convention, or being introduced by mutual friends. I’d also be way more likely to meet a girl over the internet than a guy. I tend to trust girls more. (which is stupid, I know, you can just say you’re a girl on the internet. But still.) Introduced by mutual friends is definitely my favorite situation with a girl. I’ve always been wary of hitting on girls I don’t know, for obvious reasons. There are a LOT of homophobes around here. As for a guy, I’m very specific. We would meet at a coffee shop, and he’d have trouble with his laptop, I’d come over and fix it for him, (I’m studying to be an IT) and we’d just CLICK! So romantic. I always figured I’d marry a businessman, or an artist. Haha.
So those are my melty girl thoughts. I’d really like to know how you guys think you would meet your soul mates. Or if you even believe in soul mates. I use the term loosely myself, as I don’t believe everyone has a SINGLE soul mate. But I do think everyone can meet someone just right for them. There are like, what, 6 billion people in the world? Yeah. It’s plausible.
